Stop me if you've heard this one before

Did you hear about the mafioso who studied French deconstructionist philosophy? He goes around making people offers that they can’t understand.

— from Waterloo In Dover: The Kitzmiller v. DASD Case at The Panda's Thumb

Wokka wokka wokka...

Okay. Really just wanted to pull out the bad standup line. Rest of the article's a largeish summary of the Dover 'malignant obfuscation' case (see also 'intelligent design'), worth a read if you want the blow-by-blow.

I've been enjoying the trial, more than a bit—having the ID yutzes being cross-examined on the stand has been good entertainment. Yesirree, dears, this is a court, not Usenet. So if you don't answer the question, it gets asked again, and your evasion gets entered into the record... and then the York Daily Record has a little fun with you.

Pass the popcorn.
